Curiouser and curiouser...

Ok, I have to share this one--we saw a three-wheeled car on Sunday as we were driving back from church.

And, yes, seeing one of these driving down the street is so odd that you really do point and gawk and say something Oscar-worthy like "hey, look, a three-wheeled car!" Who knew?!!?

On the other side of cool, we went to Greenwich over the weekend and stood on the prime meridian!

I know, I know, it's just an arbitrary line that people use to try to make sense of the world, but there really is something minorly monumental about being somewhere like this (kind of like skiing the Continental Divide...). It's just plain fun!

Our other silly sharable is that last weekend we went to St. James Palace to take our London-requisite photos with the stoic palace guards. What we didn't know is that every 15 minutes or so, the guards shout really loudly, turn and parade down the sidewalk and back, and then reposition themselves for another bout of putting up with the tourists. If you happen to be standing right next to them when they do this, it can be quite exciting, especially if you don't know it's going to happen. (And, yes, after laughing our heads off, of course we stayed for a second round; the guy standing next to one of the guards the next time actually screamed like a little girl, and then the whole crowd laughed with him.)

I guess the wonder of being here really hasn't worn off yet!

Besides, where else in the world can you help yourself to a free child before getting on the subway...

Or grab an extra bank (and more) if you happen to need a spare...

Or sorta visit Batman...

Or be warned by a friendly stick man that drowning may not be a very good idea...

Good times, good times...
